I have zero confidence thanks to my hair loss. Ive always been shy and social stuff was always hard for me, but Ive broken out of my shell quite a bit in the last 3 years. Ive progressed leaps and bound socially. This struggle was due to social anxiety disorder, and it still bugs me now, but not nearly as bad as it used to.

Im an attractive guy. I have very low self esteem, but I know that I am a handsome guy at the very least. Not mind-blowing Ryan Gosling looking or anything, but Im often told Im cute. But about half my hair is gone and Im 22 years old. I want to dress a little nicer than the baseball hat and t-shirt look I always have, but I feel like I look stupid in nicer clothes because of my hair. Even just a new style, I feel weird without a hat. The hair loss makes me look worse in my opinion. I mean, a handsome guy is always handsome. Matt damon looks alright with his new cue ball look, but i just can't see it with me. i feel much less attractive without hair. Speaking of Ryan Gosling, can you really see him with the bald guy crown as his hair and find him as attractive as he always was?

It didn't bother my ex, but that was because looks didn't matter to her at all. I can only hope to find another girl like that, because i feel significantly less attractive like this. Like i said, almost half my hair is gone and it's been by no means a slow progression.

Like I said, Ive come leaps and bounds socially. And I feel like I could take over the world if I had hair. I would never be afraid to talk to girls, never be afraid of being in public without a hat, nothing like that. My main fear is meeting a girl and getting along with her, then taking my hat off and her be totally turned off. Im just so embarrassed by it and its really getting me down because this is seriously holding me back so much. Ive had problems with depression and anxiety in the past and now its been getting a lot worse as I notice my hair getting worse too. It really, really holds me back with girls and it feels almost impossible to break from that without hair. there are so few options and i just don't know how to deal with this.
